The entire process takes approximately 2-4 weeks to complete
(1) Using the information you provide, we'll email you an agreement to review. We prefer to send our
agreements in Adobe Acrobat format (.PDF) via email to ensure the quickest turn around time possible. If you prefer, we can mail them to you via U.S. Postal Service.
(2) All funds must be paid in advance of service. You may pay via Paypal, cashiers check or money order made payable to Must Have Music. When using Paypal, please use our email address
musthavemusic@yahoo.com. Personal checks will be accepted but funds must clear prior to the rendering of any services.
If you intend to include these songs on a CD/Cassette that you plan to sell (as opposed to a demo
tape that will be given away) we require that you obtain a license from us and agree to pay the current statutory rate in addition to the DemoTrax Fee. The current royalty rate as of January 1, 2000 is 7.55
cents per use for compositions that are 5 minutes or less; for songs over 5 minutes, the rate is 1.45 cents per minute or fraction thereof of playing time, whichever is greater. (That's a grand total of
$75.50 per song for 1000 units). For manufacturing rates of less than 1000, we ask that you pay that cost in advance in order to minimize the accounting, and that you agree to notify us prior to the
manufacture of any more copies of the CD/Cassette.
(3) Your signature will legally allow you to use the song as defined by our agreement. Note: If you are
under the age of eighteen, your legal guardian will have to sign for you.
